Impact Pro Refinishing is a family owned business that was created in 2017 to help homeowners with quality cabinet & home painting. After many years in the industry we realized an unprofessional and common approach to the industry. What is this approach? Low quality paint applications with no durability caused by bad prep or no prep at all. This really affects you the homeowner because now you have to hire another company to fix these issues! The main issue with the paint peeling off is that the paint company didn't correctly prep the surface before applying a new color.

Before any paint is applied, evaluating the surface condition is critical. This includes cleaning, sanding, pudding and priming as necessary. These steps make sure the adhesion is a solid foundation for the paint, which can prevent issues like peeling, bubbling, chipping or flaking. A well prepared surface will not only look more professional but will also reduce the need for future touch-ups, ultimately saving time and money. Our process from estimation to completion below
Call to Estimate
Our processes have been mastered after many years of doing the same thing day in and day out. Upon receiving a call to request a house painting estimate, we agree on a date so that one of our estimator can go and do the quote.. In the estimate you can expect our estimator to have samples of our work, samples of different colors, and suggest the best approach for your new project. After answering all your questions, hour estimator will leave a quote and will not pressure you to sign any quote or contract. We like to leave potential clients a chance to look for more options and see what is their best option.
Estimate to starting project
After doing an estimate, we will send you the proposal through email and if you decide to move forward we figure out the best start date. Before we start we do require the homeowner to remove everything from the project areas. We offer help to move if there is anything heavy.
Starting Interior Project
Before we begin prepping your home and applying any color, we create a walkway on all project areas and any other rooms we will be working on. We do this to protect your flooring from any damage possible. Then we start removing anything that was left in the way of the walls. We start by removing any papers, stickers, or tapes stuck on the walls. After that we patch/puddy all holes on the walls, & then we begin sanding the puddy and imperfections on walls. If the walls are new or need spot priming this is when we will prime these areas. Once the walls are clean, patched, sanded and primed we then begin painting the final two coats of paint finish. This in house process usually takes 2 - 4days depending on the Modesto House Painters project.
Starting Exterior Project
Before we begin painting the exterior we schedule a pressure washing for your home. With this process we make sure to remove dirt, bugs, spiderwebs from your home and is clean to begin the preparation and painting of your home. Then a day after we begin the home preparation process, we begin by masking all windows, masking the floors, covering plants/bushes. We then begin patching , caulking, any hole, cracks on wood or stucco. After that if there is any areas that have peeling that need deep sanding we begin by sanding these areas throughly. If there is new construction areas, repairs or areas that need spot prime we then prime these areas. Once we have your exterior home cleaned, masked, patched, sanded, and primed we then begin spraying the home. Depending on the home and the surface we may need to backroll and if that's the case we will be doing back roll for maximum adhesion and uniformity. This process usually takes about 3-4 days depending on size of project.
Cleaning up
Once we finish spraying painting your home and the coats are dried, then we begin unmasking the home. We throw the masking in trash bags and take the trash to throw it away so you don't worry about it. After we broom the areas we worked in the its nice and clean congruent with your new freshly painted home. If there is any touch ups on the project this is when we finalize these touch ups. After working on all touch ups, we walk the project with you and when you approve the project it is then when we decide the project is completed and gather our tools, wish you a farewell and take off.
